Myotherapy Institute of Massage commits to providing our students top quality training via distance education for massage therapy and therapeutic bodywork. Our distance education offers holistic preventative care training using proven modalities and techniques. Effective personalized programs of nutrition and bodywork philosophy complete the curriculum.

Standards of MIM

• Create a broad base of knowledge and skills using both theories of massage therapy and therapeutic techniques.
• Provide confidence, training and skills for students to successfully pass state and national exams; receiving their license/certification to practice massage therapy and/or therapeutic bodywork.
• Teach students appropriate methods to assist their clients in attaining greater awareness for health and fitness.
• Encourage students to understand the need for safe health code practices in their businesses.
• Establish the boundaries of the natural healthcare field between the client and practitioner, preventing misunderstandings and false claims.
• Help graduates develop professional attitudes and commitments to ethical practice of natural healthcare.
• Assist student through a Student Hotline.
• Provide intense but convenient hands-on training.
