ATTENDANCE AND STUDENT CONDUCT
Attendance & Make-up Requirements
Being a Distance Education Program we require homework assignments (Self Checks) to be turned into MIM; this guarantees to MIM that the student has completed the lessons required for graduation. During On-Campus Seminars, there is a 100% attendance required to receive credit for the full hours available.
LTP are regulated by attendance records that are signed by both trainer and student. The records are then sent to the Student Services to be filed.
Student Complaints
All student complaints need to be addressed in writing to the Student Services Director. Any complaints not resolved by the Student Services Director will be directed in writing to the Administrative Board for a decision or resolution.
Smoking, Alcohol & Drugs
There will be no alcohol or illegal drugs allowed on the MIM campus or premises. Students can find smoking designated areas located outside, on the East or West ends of the building. In the event of a complaint, disciplinary action will be taken.
Student Dress Code
While on campus, students must wear appropriate attire. Appropriate attire consists of loose fitting casual clothing, modest in appearance and suitable for performing massage. Halters, shorts, etc., are not considered appropriate attire.
Student Conduct
Behavior subject to termination: pattern of absences; any violation of MIM or LT regulations or policies; interfere with another student or instructors; stealing or destroying property; boisterousness; obscenity or any other unprofessional conduct. Any refund will be paid in accordance with the refund policy.
Cause for Termination
Inappropriate behavior as described in Student Conduct may cause termination. Also, once the maximum time (18 months) of the program has passed, you will be terminated from MIM's Distance Education Program. Reinstatement requires a letter of reinstatement from the student, a reinstatement fee and approval from Student Services.
Other possible causes for termination:
- Academic hold expired (6 months period).
- Inappropriate, unprofessional, unethical, or illegal behavior related to laws and guidelines of their local area, or MIM's laws and guidelines during any On-Campus Seminar.
- Failure to pay.
