Leave of Absence, Reinstatement or Re-Activation

Students who wish to take a Leave of Absence (Academic Hold) need to petition MIM in writing explaining their reasons for the request. An interview with the Student Services will then be arranged. After the interview and acceptance for the Leave of Absence, a letter granting the request will be sent to the student with a copy of the letter on file. Maximum length of leave for two years.

The Student Services Director reviews each application for reinstatement, conducts the interview and then renders a decision of readmission. Reinstatement is granted for an additional 6 months with a nonrefundable reinstatement/reactivation fee of $200.00.
